This textural single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is grown in small blocks, each treated separately in both the vineyard and the winery. The resulting wines including 10% barrel-fermented in aged French oak barriques are then blended to achieve the ultimate Blind River style, capturing the intense passionfruit and mineral flavours whilst offering an authentic, handmade expression of New Zealand’s Awatere Valley.
Cellar for up to five years.
Goat cheese, feta, asparagus, capsicum, shellfish, whitebait and other seafood, a Greek salad, fresh herbs, or any dish with tomato, fennel, rocket, capers and pesto.
